Ever since the days of early climbing expeditions, this 8,850m mountain has had a lure of its own, drawing climbers to scale it and trekkers to gaze on its icy faces. It is easy to see why the trek to the base camp of Mount Everest has become one of the most popular routes in Nepal.

This an amazing trek starts from Kathmandu with 40 minutes flight to Lukla and landing at the tiny airstrip of Lukla, the adventure really begins from the minute you take off from Kathmandu for Lukla and spend several days trekking through the homelands of the Sherpa people, along the river, valleys, hills and mountains, and will see Buddhist monasteries and close up views of Mt. Everest and its neighbouring Mountains Ama Dablam and other peaks, this area is considered  to be among the most beautiful mountains region of Himalayas.

On our arrival at Namche Bazaar we spend 2 nights here at Namche Bazaar, the bustling market town in the heart of Sherpa dominant region, and at Pheriche see a cluster of houses set among the high summer grazing pastures of the region. We spend the time in Namche Bazaar exploring and acclimatizing, which is important factor for acclimatization and enhance the enjoyment of this wonderful trek for the life time.

People who have fully acclimatized may find trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar is pleasant and without doubt, for many people the main highlight will be the magnificent views that unfold from the summit of Kalapathar - the extraordinary ice sculptures of the Khumbu Glacier, Nuptse and the south-west face of Mt Everest itself and the whole Khumbu glacier and the magnificent landscape of the area with 360 degree panoramic view from Kalapathar.
