One of the most mesmerizing trekking in Annapurna region is the Tilicho Lake Trek, which collects the glacial melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and the Thorang Peak at the height of 5200m, Tilicho Lake is claimed to be situated on the highest elevation in the world. In year 2001, Hindu pilgrims from around the world gathered to the lake believing it is the holy spot that was mentioned in the Hindus holy book called Ramayan.

Like Annapurna circuite trek, this outstanding Tilicho Lake Trekking starts from Kathmandu with 4-5 hours drive to Besihahar and the route goes along the Marshangdi River and Gorge through the remote valley of Manang, known as the district behind the Mountains, to crest the infertile, windswept northern flank of Annapurna at the Thorong-La, with the great views of Manaslu and Himchili to the east. The route then passes through the Khanshar Village (The Last Village of Nepal). The trail goes through the most challenging pass Moeso Kanta Pass of Annapurna area to Jomson or return back to the circuit trek to rejoin at Yak Kharka.

This outstanding Tilicho lake trek leads you through to the fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, and also offers spectacular and majestic views of the Mountains. We have customized this route, as it is basically, the same as Annapurna Circuit, except from Manang valley this trek takes the different route to the North to Tanki Manang and Yak Kharka, this route goes to the main valley to the west passes through the Khanshar Village and trek up to Tilicho lake, via Nam Phu Kharka and Jomsom where we take short flight to Pokhara.
