Standing at 8163m, east of the Annapurna in Central Nepal is Mt. Malasalu the eighth highest Mountain in the world. The Manasalu circuit around the mountain takes trekkers into a remote region that borders with Tibet. Until year 2010, access to the area was restricted.

The Manasalu trek starts from the historical town of Gorkha, the trek heads north following the valley of the Budi Gandaki River, which cuts through the Himalaya, carving a precipitous gorge along much of its length. After several days on the trail, the river unexpectedly turns west and follows the wall of high mountains that mark the frontier with Tibet. At this point the scenery opens up to reveal the impressive faces of Manasalu, Manasalu North and peak 29. We slow down and take our time to acclimatise to increasing altitude, and also to enjoy a member of short side trips to explore our surroundings. The people of this area are remote and sparsely inhabited region are Buddhists of Tibetan descent. Prayer walls and monasteries known as Gompas are architectural ornaments of hidden valley.  Larkya La pass is positioned approximately 40KM away from Annapurna in west. Manasalu the world’s eighth-highest Mountain, lies at the edge of one of the maximum of the crushed valleys in Nepal. Manasalu means in Sanskrit, “Mountain of the Sprits” Once over the Laryka La Pass (5135M), a whole new view unfolds. Aside from appealing perspectives of Himalchuli(7893m), Manasalu(8163m), Ganesh Himal, Ngadi Chuli(7879) and much more striking peaks, you will additionally mark beautiful various panorama and style of vegetation  and animals in Manasalu trekking.

The fundamental appeal of Manasalu circuit trek is geographically astonishing, awesome environment, particular biodiversity, and top notch way of life. The people live here are Gurung, Tibeto-Brman individuals who follow Buddhism with impacts of Hinduism. Far from Manasalu, the humans are completely Tibetan; they are direct offspring of Tibetan immigrations. Their languages, dress and customs are nearly similar to Tibetan. In the low region, there are numerous different casts of peoples like Brahmans, Chhetries, Newars, Ghales, Gurungs and Tamangs in round Manasalu trek. So Manasalu trek is one of the great hiking holidays in Nepal.
